Welcome to the
Ninth International Conference on Applied Informatics
Imagination, Creativity, Design, Development - ICDD

Organized by:
Research Center in Informatics and Information Technology
Department of Mathematics and Informatics
Faculty of Sciences
Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu

The conference primarily targets young researchers from around the globe, offering a platform to present and discuss their work in informatics and related disciplines, such as computational algebra, numerical calculus, and bioinformatics. Participants are invited to submit original research papers that are supported by practical software applications demonstrating the findings. The conference does not accept purely theoretical studies.

All submissions will undergo a rigorous single-blind peer review process, evaluated by at least two independent experts in the field. Papers will be assessed based on their relevance to the conference themes, clarity of presentation, originality, and the validity of the results and proposed solutions.

The program will feature regular presentations (15 minutes each) and brief presentations from IT companies. The official language of the conference is English.

Thanks to the support of our sponsors, grants (types G1 and G2) are available to undergraduate and master’s students, covering the participation fee. Further details are provided in the Fee section. Papers qualifying for the G1 grant are eligible to compete for the ICDD Best Student Paper Award. Additionally, depending on funding availability, up to four supplementary awards for Imagination, Creativity, Design, and Development may be presented.
