The city of Sibiu, located in the heart of Romania, is one of the most important cities in southern Transylvania,

with a rich history, dating back to at least the 12th century AD, and with a remarkable economic

development potential, already hosting the facilities of many important international companies.

The “Lucian Blaga” University of Sibiu is the main university of the city, comprising 20000 students

studying at 8 faculties such as Engineering, Law, Economic Sciences, Medicine etc.

Getting to Sibiu

By plane:

There are daily direct flights to and from Sibiu from and to Munich, Stuttgart and Vienna, as well as three flights a week to and from Bucharest.

By train:

Sibiu can be reached by direct train links both from the major cities of Romania and from several European cities.

By car:

Sibiu is crossed by the European Routes 68 (Szeged, Hungary – Brasov, Romania) and 81 (Mukacevo, Ukraine – Constanta, Romania)
