The 7th International Conference on
Knowledge Science, Engineering and Management
KSEM 2014

16–18 October 2014, Sibiu, Romania

The Seventh Edition of the International Conference on Knowledge Science, Engineering and Management KSEM 2014 will be hosted in Sibiu (www.sibiu.ro) . Situated in the heart of Transylvania, at the foothills of the Carpathians, Sibiu is one of the most important cultural centres of Romania and one of the most beautiful medieval towns in Transylvania. Due to its cultural richness along with its history, traditional values, architectural and geographical beauty, Sibiu was designated The European Capital of Culture for the year 2007 and, according to Forbes, it is one of Europe’s „most idyllic places to live.

Today, “Lucian Blaga” University of Sibiu is proud to offer over 17,000 students a wide range of subjects, going from foreign languages to engineering sciences, and from economics to medical sciences. Our goal is to link and interconnect this impressive range of assets to create surplus value in the fields we promote. We are privileged to encourage the wish of knowledge improvement of the new generations and to assist and guide them through this qualitative process.

KSEM is an international conference for research on knowledge science, engineering and management, which attracts numerous high quality, state-of-the-art research papers from all over the world. The conference provides a forum for researchers, practitioners and developers where they can share views, present ideas and original work, providing new insights into KSEM-related areas. KSEM 2014 will be held in Sibiu, Romania, and is the seventh in the conference series, following six successful events in Guilin, China (KSEM 2006), Melbourne, Australia (KSEM 2007), Vienna, Austria (KSEM 2009), Belfast, Northern Ireland (KSEM 2010), Irvine, USA (KSEM 2011) and Dalian, China (KSEM 2013). The KSEM conference was ranked B in the Australian Research Council classification.
