Submission Information

Prospective participants are requested to electronically submit full papers of their work. In accordance with the previous conferences, the organizers of KSEM 2014 will publish the conference proceedings with Springer in the Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence (LNCS/LNAI) series www.springer.com/lncs. Selected papers will be considered, via standard reviewing procedures, to appear in special issues of several indexed international journals.
All submissions must be written in English and formatted according to the guidelines of Lecture Notes in Computer Science or Artificial Intelligence at Springer Verlag. Author instructions can be downloaded at http://www.springer.com/computer/lncs/lncs+authors?SGWID=0-40209-0-0-0
The maximum length of papers is 12 pages including abstract, figures and references. Papers exceeding this length will be rejected. Please include a 150 word abstract and 3-6 keywords best describing the paper.
Please submit your paper via the EasyChair system, at the following link: https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=ksem2014. The system accepts submissions in the ZIP format. The uploaded ZIP archive should contain, for the initial submission:

  • The paper in PDF format;
  • The paper in its source format (MS Word docx or Latex, including related source files), in exactly the version that was used to build the PDF.

For the camera-ready submissions, authors will receive further instructions upon acceptance, including requests for additional files (e.g. copyright forms).
The authors are responsible for preparing the final manuscript in time for inclusion in the conference proceedings. At least one author of each accepted paper must make a full registration for the conference and present the paper.
Three reviewers will review each paper based on accuracy and originality of ideas, clarity and significance of results, scientific rigor and quality of presentation. The submissions must be original work, not published or submitted elsewhere. Authors of accepted papers will be solicited to send a signed copyright form, as required by Springer.
