The Conference is an integral component of the activities conducted by the RESEARCH CENTER IN MATHEMATICS AND APPLICATIONS at "Lucian Blaga" University of Sibiu.

It is specifically designed to facilitate high-level research presentations and foster the exchange of ideas within the domain of Approximation Theory and its associated topics.

Our distinguished friend and collaborator, Professor Ioan Rasa, will turn 75 on November 15, 2026.

On this occasion, the ICATA 2026 conference is dedicated to the scientific work of Professor Ioan Rasa.
