Tamara ZAPPATERRA

Associate Professor in “Methodologies of Teaching and Special Pedagogy” at the University of Ferrara, where she is currently a Pro-Rector for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
She is the Director of the “Specialization course for support teachers” and Coordinator of the Master’s degree in “Education, Communication, and Digital Citizenship”.
Her research concerns the training processes of people with frailties and disabilities in an inclusive perspective and the pre-service and in-service training of teachers and educators.
She is a member of the Steering Committee of the Italian Society of Special Pedagogy (SIPES), and she has been a member of the Scientific Committee of the European Agency for Special Needs and Inclusive Education
