ICDD History

ICDD was born in 2009 as a national Session of Scientific Communication for Students, having Romanian as official language. The name of the conference and the motto were proposed by Laurentiu Ciovica , one of the students from the organization team. In present, Laurentiu is the manager of the IT Company Omeron, one of the ICDD sponsors.
In 2011, ICDD become International Students Conference on Informatics and the scientific value and the number of participants grew along the next editions (2011-2016).
In 2017 ICDD passed a new step becoming International Conference on Applied Informatics. The conference addresses from now to a larger auditorium: bachelor and master level students, PhD students and youth scholars from all over the world.
The development and evolution of this conference would not have been possible without the contribution of our sponsors whom we are grateful.
