Instructions for Authors
The International Journal of Movement Science invites authors to submit original and unpublished manuscripts written in English. All submissions must present scientific research relevant to the fields of movement science, physical education, sport, health, and human performance.
All submitted manuscripts will undergo a peer-review process to ensure scientific quality, originality, and relevance to the conference scope.
Types of Contributions
Full Papers
Full papers should present original scientific research and must meet the following requirements:
• Length between 4 and 10 pages
• Written in English
• Must follow the official conference template
• Will be published in the Conference Proceedings with ISBN
• Subject to peer-review
Full papers should include the following sections:
• Title
• Author(s) name and affiliation
• Abstract
• Keywords
• Introduction
• Materials and Methods
• Results
• Discussion
• Conclusions
• References
Abstracts
Abstract submissions are intended for authors who wish to present their research in oral or poster format.
Requirements:
• Length between 200 and 300 words
• Written in English
• Must clearly describe the purpose, methodology, results, and conclusions
• Will be published in the Book of Abstracts with ISBN
Poster Presentations
Poster presentations provide an opportunity to visually present research findings.
Requirements:
• Poster must present original research
• Must include title, authors, affiliation, introduction, methods, results, and conclusions
• Accepted posters will be included in the Conference Companion Proceedings with ISBN
General Requirements
All submitted manuscripts must comply with the following requirements:
• The work must be original and not previously published
• The manuscript must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere
• The manuscript must be written in clear academic English
• Authors must follow the official conference formatting template
• References must be formatted according to APA style
• Authors are responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the submitted work
Peer-Review Process
All submissions will undergo a peer-review process conducted by qualified reviewers selected by the Scientific Committee.
The evaluation criteria include:
• Scientific originality
• Methodological quality
• Relevance to the conference scope
• Clarity of presentation
• Scientific contribution
Only accepted and presented papers will be included in the Conference Proceedings.
